SOUVENIRS & DONATIONS

During my journey through Vietnam I will undoubtedly be running into some amazing handmade treasures.  I will be selecting only the most unique items to be posted on this site available for purchase.  Requests will be considered as well, however, we will not be sending any artifacts or articles of historical value so please do not even ask.

Next up from Cambodia, I shouldn't have a problem getting them even though I am in Vietnam now, cool silk purses.

Damn good quality!

I purchased a few to give as souvenirs and folks loved them.  They cost about $4 US.  Figure that it is going to cost about $10 for everything including mailing them to your doorstep.

First up... hand woven, pure silk, scarves from the hill tribes of Vietnam and Laos.  Below is the creator of the scarf I sent home to my friend Christy G.  I was able to negotiate the cost down a bit to $10 us.  A reasonable price considering it takes her as much as 2 weeks to create one master piece.  Her daughter, shown below, is in training and was also part of the negotiation process... she demanded that I give her my pen to complete the deal.
